Brent Culberson currently serves as the Vice President for Government and Community Relations at Lipscomb University, drawing upon his extensive experience in previous roles as Assistance Commissioner for Legislative Affairs and Assistant Commissioner of Health Licensure and Regulation at the Tennessee Department of Health, and earlier positions at Lipscomb University managing government and community relations as well as another role in state government with the Tennessee Secretary of State.

He is a graduate of Lipscomb University, receiving a Master of Arts in Conflict Management and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  He is native of Middle Tennessee and involved in several organizations, including Best Buddies of Tennessee Advisory Board, The Joseph School, and the Stephens Christian Trust.  Brent and his wife Katie live in Brentwood, Tennessee, and have two daughters.
